The hire facility is for commercial use only. It is a service for stylists in theatre, film, advertising and editorial.

Hire terms and conditions

The price/value includes GST and reflects the rarity, availability and condition of the item.
The hire period for one week or part thereof is 30% of the price or for two weeks at 40% of the price. (Editorials/credits in publications, are the only instance in which the fee is wavered.)
A hire contract is signed agreeing on the pre hire condition of the item(s) committing the hirer to return the item(s) in the same conditions.
A condition report is filled out, documenting all imperfections of the item hired with both parties agreeing and signing the report. The soles of brand new shoes have to be protected with tape.
A security holding cheque or credit card imprint for the full value of the item(s) is required until the item(s) is returned.
Any damage or loss to any item(s) hired out must be either repaired (the repairer must be approved by pelle) to the satisfaction of pelle, or replaced for the full amount.
pelle has been collecting these hire items over many years for their visually interesting and rare qualities. We maintain and look after them and expect that our clients will do the same.
